Welcome

Welcome to my website! I created this site to help you get healthy and fit so you can live a longer life with more vitality! However, I am disabling this website and moving on with in-person training/teaching only. I loved having a blog for a time, but I have since realized how few people actually want to read articles. 

To do that, I write a weekly blog hoping to educate and inspire you to make healthier choices so you can be your best self. I believe a healthy body leads to a happy life. And the “body” includes the mind and spirit, so inspiration is as important as education. 

The services I offer are for women over 40 (like me!) who are not just interested in weight loss but in achieving greater overall health. I got to a point years ago where I was no longer happy with my weight. I also wasn’t eating very healthy which wasn’t helping my energy levels. I knew I needed to grow up and start doing things differently.

So I changed my eating and exercise habits and got my weight back down to a range I was happy with. Then, because of my family history, I refocused on long-term health and disease prevention. Now in my fifties, I rarely get sick and I’ve maintained my healthy weight. With everything I’ve learned, I want to help other women get the same results. Read more on my About Me page. 

If you want to be healthy, vibrant, and feel good then you need to take control of your health instead of gambling with it. And that’s more mental than it is physical. What is vitality?

Vitality refers to a state of “being strong and active, with mental vigor”. So many women over 40 feel like they’ve lost their vitality, but you can get it back! I can help you with that by teaching you everything I’ve learned in my health journey. I want you to live your life to its fullest so you can climb the mountains you’re facing and enjoy life!

My Services

  • Health coaching: an online program for weight loss and health that involves making changes in nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management.
  • Personal training: one-on-one fitness instruction in my studio or your home.
  • Small group fitness classes: group fitness (2-3 friends) in my studio or another location.
  • All fitness classes consist of strength, cardio, and flexibility – using dumbbells, bands, balls, steps, bodyweight & more.

Health Services

My health services will teach you the skills you need to manage your health on your own for the long term! I’ve been certified in personal training, health coaching and senior fitness so I have the knowledge to help women over 40 with their specific needs.

As we age our abilities and perspectives on health change. As a woman over 50 myself, I understand that and would love to help you get more fit with these classes.

Personal Training

This is one-on-one fitness training that can take place either in my studio or in your home.  But it will cost less if you come to me! I want you to know how to exercise the right way to gain the most benefits. Personal training with me will always include some additional health education. I believe in a holistic view of health, which means addressing all of our lifestyle habits.

Small Group Exercise Classes

Small group exercise classes are similar to personal training but are a way to split the cost and have more fun! My studio can accommodate 2-4 friends exercising together. Modifications will be made to accommodate different ability levels. These classes will also include education about how to make other healthy choices in life.

I can also come to other locations to teach larger group classes. You just need a church space, country club, large garage, or outdoor space big enough to accommodate your group of friends.

Health Coaching

This is a health service that provides education, motivation, and support for changing your behaviors to reach better overall health. If you want to lose weight and get healthy, then you need to do more than exercise to get there. If you’ve tried to make healthy changes on your own but couldn’t for any reason, then this is a great option!

  • These health services can only work if you’re willing to put in the time and effort to take action. I’m committed to giving you the information and support you need to reach your goals. But it still takes a strong commitment from you to change for good.
